As Alan (a Senior in High School) returns home from walking his dog, sitting at the kitchen table is his parents, Bill and Diana (a couple of 15-20 years) who begin to have a verbal fight as Bill admits, for the first time, of his inward battle with his own homosexuality. Diana goes through denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Everyone in the household coming to terms with the fact that their old way of life is now over.
